    The splined drive on my Lucas metering unit is currently frozen and no amount of penetrating into the fuel intake has any effect so far. Will decarbonizing fluid loosen the gasoline varnish without damaging the seals or membranes? Any help or advice would be appreciated. I have the oilless dry-type unit for a Mistral 4000 (Lucas 730-550, L2585.
