Ganassi balking at the suggestion Danica will be driving one of his cars at Indy......
I heard she might go back to school. Seems she's been hitting the books pretty hard... and the desks... and the library... and...
Danica has a new book! late Christmas present for you guys. http://www.espn.com/espnw/culture/article/21882584/book-excerpt-pretty-intense-danica-patrick
"What doesn't kill me makes stronger?" Hellooo.....try going thru turn four at Indy flat footed before making that comment.
Olivia really laughed at that Chas, thanks! I am the apple of her eye right now. Danica better know what "319" means because no one else does! Shaking fist at Paul Tracy again... BHW
Danica's Daytonner 500 plans taking a little bit of time... The suggestion is being made that she self-fund her ride and proceeds go to a children's charity. http://www.racer.com/nascar/item/146560-patrick-s-daytona-plans-taking-a-little-bit-of-time BHW
she is a piece of garbage...i had her number back early in her indy car stint. a no account from the beginning. the good news is that now ricky stankhouse can now focus on his career and his famous, zero talent can go ruin the career of the next person. btw, i have now lost all respect for aaron Rodgers.
Wait for it: sexual harassment complaints coming against every male ever in a position to advance her career.
Tick-tock... The time is rapidly approaching, either Danica gets a Daytonner 500 ride or she's relegated to the commentary booth, or worse pit reporter. The NASCAR teams are usually lined up waiting to get into the track the minute the checkered flag drops on the 24 Hours. If she doesn't have a ride announced within the next week or so, things certainly won't bode too well will they? Imagine, Danica has gone from "winning" the pole for the Daytonner 500 in 2013 as a series rookie, which NASCAR squeezed for all its worth, to five years later being periously close to having no ride at all and it seems NASCAR isn't lifting a finger to help her. BHW
Of utmost importance..... Who cares?! She's nothing but another "famous for being famous" celebrity that accomplished nothing while driving so really has no draw to those who really have an interest in racing. If she shined somewhere along the way in her career, of course. A pole at Daytona and a fuel economy "win" in Japan is not "shining". Just to have her fill a spot on the grid would cost someone that really deserves a chance a seat. If she lucked into a win in this major crapshoot (the others being Talladega and the Indy 500), what would it mean?
What is NASCAR the series/organization supposed to be doing to help? I am sure they would love for her to have a ride, but how exactly are they supposed to step in and make that happen?
Umm, same way they've always done it - by writing large checks? Not saying they should but let's face it they've floated entire teams in the past.
