Well id love to organise a national FCHAT Meeting in the Summer.. It could be in the Midlands somewhere so easy for all to access, chances to put faces to names and admire all those cars.. I think that would be well worth any early start convoy up ? If enough folks are interested id look for a suitable Venue..
Just a sugestion Joe this house is just up the road from me and we have a motorshow in the summer, bmw, lotus, noble, merc, jag, subaru, landrover, rover, ford, main dealers all there, its all on grass though but we do have a couple of ferraris turn up, i could get in touch with the organiser and get an area roped off to keep people from touching the cars, good for the kids to,lovely old very clean pub 100 yrd walk down the road, just a thought, http://www.stourbridge.co.uk/haglhall/haghall.htm cheers Dale.
I was thinking about an f-chat meet too. The Midlands sounds a good spot to meet for everybody logistically? Maybe a meal the night before and a meet the next day could be a plan.......meal and few pints is always good craic! Or drive out in the afternoon, meal and frolics at night, and crawl home the next morning feeling wretched? Out of interest how many f-chat peeps are going to Pistonfest, as many of us are both f-chat / PH frequenters. Thanks MOD.
I'd be up for a Midlands meet. I haven't locked onto Pistonfest yet, though I would prefer a specific Fchat event if we could do it. There's just something about a line of Ferraris as far as the eye can see. Kevin
I am currently organising an event at Harewood House/Bolton Abbey, Yorkshire. Its an informal gathering of cars. Ferrari, Maserati, TVR, Lotus e.t.c. The first event is on the 18th April and Ground Entrance/Parking will hopefully be no more than £4. The event will appear on the www.Pistonheads.com calendar when the venue is confirmed.
Dale great location and chris great as well. I will be going to both... i know some friends with lotus's and tvrs that will attend too.
Hi guys found a few hotels if anyone wants an overnight stay, will look into this venu and post up ASAP,to see what your thoughts are http://www.aboutbritain.com/HagleyHall.htm cheers Dale.
