If anyone knows of one, pm me please.
I knew I got the pic off of here, sorry I stole it I thought you may never ever see something like this again I bet that was a wicked beast.
Make sure that the rest of the car has been upgraded to match the turbo system. A customer of ours had a Norwood system (very nice) installed on his TR. When I asked if he had upgraded his differential carrier or transmission input shaft he said no. It was only a couple of weeks later that he blew his transmission housing to smithereens.
That pic makes this idea seem so right but this post is exactly why it can go so wrong-and trust me I'd love to do this. These cars used to be much more affordable so there's no way anybody that actually did this upgraded the trans. On top of that, you just don't know how many STI's and M3's the previous owner dragged between stop lights before you even saw the car-my opinion but let's be honest: we'd all do the same thing. You could find a decent driver and do it all yourself-or just do the turbo work and really baby it until you do the trans upgrade. It's a hell of a job but you'd know where you are when you were done
Guys, I used to own a Norwood car. I am looking to buy another so please post only if you know of one. Thanks
These are not drag cars guys. It takes a very responsible, intelligent and respectful owner to enjoy one.
@MOSS i know of one that just got 6 figures of work done to it, and it’s stunning. Personally know both the owner and shop where it’s at. Call/text me 404-345-9418

This Car was the King! I actually had 2 of them an 87 and a 92, Had to sell them both , because when I drove in center lane of 3 lane highway I would have 12 inches of car in each outer lane..cops kept giving me tickets for being a Road Hog! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login Sorry to take over this thread. Those 2 are gone However if you are really desperate I would consider selling this , best in country stock 94’ However it is quite expensive.
Hey man, I'm the one that bought and redid Todd's car...in fact, it's just about ready to start being driven. It was the one featured in Forza back in 2004. You can reach me at doctorv8 at gmail. Regards, Sanjay
So far I have found 2 cars. 1 in Red and 1 in black. Since James at Norwood is the only one fixing the things and somewhat reluctant at that I would think they are going to be more of a conversation piece in the near future. I loved my mint condition red 87 with HRE wheels but that was 6 years ago and sold for 70k to a guy up North. I would love to get my old one back but just have the classic license plate number and no luck yet. How do you trace plates? I'm having a tough time so far.
No, I got it through James at Norwoods about 5 years ago. I found a picture of the car with antique plates and it is recent.
