La ferrari is sub 7 sec 0 - 200 kph. I think they said this is faster somewhere - or everywhere. The devil is in the detail..
I can hear the conversation now "Of course sir you can spec without stripe, carbon fibre body parts or carbon fibre wheels but when it comes to resale ??? Now, would sir consider two sets of wheels one for road use and one to protect resale value ?"
Who cares? I do and apparently 30+ pages of this thread. Its a Ferrari so nothing is minor. What makes it special or Speciale is everything from how many horses to the potential name.
I like how the splitter in the rear quarter scoop now extends down vertically. This nicely mimics the shape of the black filler bit at the extremity of the front grille opening. Only little gripe at the front where they choose to distinguish in black the center part of what leads to the lower lip. With is dihedral droop and upturned tips it looks like a Rollie Fingers moustache, ha-ha.
Am happy to see the car sits much lower than the GTB and has a greatly reduced gap between the tire and fender. As well, the wheels seem further pushed out - especially in the rear.
They seem to be channeling the Challenge Stradale with the red on red color combination. Nose to tail; I wonder how far the white stripes go down the rear bumper of the car...
No way this is faster in straight line than hybrid LaF, false statement from that sources, maybe on some circuits, not on straight line
Guess I cannot believe they add 80 PS on a non GTO model, if theg do, they are really worried by mecca
so those rims are the standard ones and then the carbon fiber is an option? OMG will be bloody expansive!!! and I will "need" it if I get one allocation!!
Seems a bit too high for a special edition car, 80 PS difference, never seen in Ferrari, but the more power the better, let's hope you're right
I need to wait until I see it in person but at this point, I think that I'm spec'ing without the stripe. It doesn't see to do the nose any favors from the angle of that one picture.
I tend to agree but am not dismissing it because source is well informed and turbo engines and the 720S seem to have rewritten the rules. Also helps justify what I think we all anticipate will be a new price point for the VS model.
