I completely understand... When I was facing 3 sets of tuitions, I recall curtailing some expenditures.. Congratulations on the upcoming arrival..
I got mine from Scott McG instead of going the 928 route.... installed 8-1/2 years ago and still going strong... have never regretted it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Do you have contact info for Scott McG? I’m looking at a supercharger for a 328 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The link is truncated and I can't find the ad. Currently collecting parts to restore my 1980 GTSi. Very interested in this if it will work on my car.
That is because the thread was originally started in 2015. Dale G reopened the thread yesterday by asking a question re Scott McG
Obviously, but why is the original link a dead end and, more importantly, is the item still available? I've bought items that were listed for years before.
Kinda late to the party here— still available?? Any current reliable sources or recommendations for reliable complete bolt on kit for USA 83 308 qv
I think the 928 guys built 5 kits iirc? They had trouble moving them as its a much smaller market than they expected. I built 3 QV setups...well, 2.75 as one guy wanted to do finish work himself but never did. The other 2 I ran on my car then sold but none are currently installed on a car as far as I know. 2 have popped up on ebay over the years and forum member Verell (unobtanium supply) has 1, no idea if he'd part with it but you could ask. Now that this thread is resurrected, I'll say that I still have my 308QV, and it's still got the supercharger setup Scott put on it for me in 2007... almost 17 years later! Love it. Photos earlier in post 27 earlier in this thread.
Once, fairly early on. It's been fine since then, certainly for more than 10 years now on that second set of seals..
