DFW Anyone willing to look at a car for me in Paris, Texas?

    Hello fine people of Texas! :cool:

    I'm close to long-distance purchasing a Certified Ford which is located at an authorized Ford dealer in Paris, Texas - 94 miles northeast of Dallas. While it has been serviced and certified at the selling dealership, the only prior history I have to go on is via CarFax and AutoCheck, which I don't really trust in isolation. This particular car looks great on paper, but the fact that it has been on the market for 3 months at two different dealerships is giving me some cause for concern. If anyone is willing to check it out and test drive it on my behalf, I'd greatly appreciate it. The dealership is compiling some additional information for me tonight for me to look at tomorrow morning, so I'm looking to do this as soon as this weekend if that checks out.

    Paris is a small town, which could be a reason why the car has not sold in 3 months. just a thought.

    Some of my favorite roads are up that direction, too bad I’m without the Ferrari at the moment. And too bad it’s been raining for a month. And too bad I’ll very likely be working this weekend.

    Other than that, I’d go. :)

    Might be one of the repaired hail damaged cars that don't show up on car-fax.
    If its a good deal it doesn't matter.
