I'm still going to arrange for my pass - just in case. I just wonder if Road Atlanta is actually going against Ferrari's wishes. As of right now, the weather forecast for both days is sunny, with highs in the 60s, and Friday will be a bit warmer.
OK, after all of the back and forth I believe we will be able to gain entry for Ferrari Club of America members and also for customers of the dealership. Tom will reach out for the club. RSVP no later than Tuesday and please know this will be for access only and does not include hospitality for food or pit access. Phew. We have someone at the track in Austin who was able to get this done. Thanks Webb!
Is that necessary, Will? The track says that anyone will be admitted for $20. Or is what you're offering free to FCA members and customers?
Making trip down from Central KY. Anyone know the schedule for Thursday? Will be there all day on Friday! Excited is an understatement.
A photo from the garage at COTA showed at least five F1 Ferraris. Hopefully they'll all be coming to Road Atlanta!
Tons of cool stuff @ COTA. Many more than 5 F1s.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Many FXX and FXXk present as well... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is a detailed schedule available anywhere? I particularly want to see the exact time the F1 cars will run, as I know they only run 1 or 2 hours per day. COTA in Austin had a very nicely detailed schedule here: http://www.circuitoftheamericas.com/ferrari-challenge But the Road Atlanta website does not.
Got the detailed schedule, and highlighted it to make it easy to read. Also posted it in a new thread to make it easy to find: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/schedule-for-f1-clienti.571452/
Sadly I will not be able to be there! work getting in the way... but if you have never been to a Clienti FXX event - totally worth it. the noise alone is great! Road Atlanta is a challenging track would be good to see how Clienti F-1 do against outright track record. if Marc Gene is there ... I would think he can blow it away... in a 2005 - 2007 F1
Forecast looks better for Thursday so planning on going up mid morning. Debating on taking the 458 or SUV. Anyone else going in their F cars on Thursday?
Current forecast is sunny thru about 2 PM on Friday, with a slight chance of showers beginning by 4 PM and increasing after 8. Temperatures on Thursday 33-64 and on Friday 44-68.
My guy Bud Moeller will be tooling around in these two beauties. I think his 599FX looks like the Batmobile! These photos were taken at COTA this weekend.
Well, the Friday forecast has improved: high temperature of 70, with all rain holding off until 8 PM.
