I mentioned - carobu. Google it, they are online.

It wouldn’t be to restore though. I was looking for a cheap one to “alter and improve”

Their cars usually beat to sh$t, you will easily be upside down on any car you buy from them.

Interested in the observations about BHCC. I have purchased 3 cars ‘blind’ from the other side of the pond. My 308 GTS Q.V., 190 SL and E type Series 2 at bargain prices.

Found them to provide honest feedback, provide hi res photos and videos when requested. They were also happy to list what they’d found that was obviously wrong with car. I also had pretty realistic expectations about ‘hidden issues’ but so far all 3 vehicles have actually exceeded my expectations.

I do appreciate I have been lucky, but like anything, do your homework, and invest in an independent inspection if not sure. If you buy a lemon and you haven’t done your research it is truly a case of caveat emptor! Still watching and waiting for the next toy but prices seem to be leaping ahead along with demand.

I live on the east coast of England and the West Coast of the US is arather long daily commute.

I am a repeat and a very satisfied customer. Here’s my fresh new UK plates on my 308. Currently working through the interior. Today it’s old carpets and trim out if I can get the back shelf out.

We’ve got to look good for driving the Le Mans Classic circuit next month.
