I’m really curious to understand if these cars keep the value or not. There are also some customers, out of this program, who are replicating the livery of very important historical cars who they own with tailor made department.

Today's RM Sothebys Monaco lot 156 looks like the first "real" auction data point since the RM Maranello 488 Spider green jewel sale. The white California T livery 14. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/MC18/Monaco/lots/r0048-2017-ferrari-california-t-70th-anniversary/658563 Hammered for 320k euros , at the lower end of the 315-360 range. So, about 358k euros all in. Would be interesting to know what the sticker price was since there has been speculation here that that 70th anniversary package was about 100k+ euros of options. Does any one know if the Coys car (the blue "73" number 488GTB) sold at Monaco yesterday? http://www.coys.co.uk/cars/2018-ferrari-488-gtb-70th-anniversary-edition Had a high 400-600 estimate, and subject to VAT. It is going to be fascinating to see what kind of market develops for these cars as some of the liveries look a lot more interesting than others.
Just a note, the California T at RM Monaco is subject to VAT on the total sale price plus commission, so 320k Eu hammer plus 15% commission (and tax on commission , then that total is subject to VAT. ( roughly 377 k plus vat, say 20% for uk so total 450 k Eu. - hope I got that right) That is huge for a Cali T....

Even if the hammered price was the original price of California T, it is anyway a good result, since a regular California would have gone under MSRP. Then I don’t understand who is paying so much for this car. You can make a tailor made at any time with the same design you like. So at the end you’re paying for 70s anniversary sticker. What a great marketing!
