As Vince Lombardi said: "Nobody's perfect, but if we strive for perfection we can catch excellence" Dave, your service and quality of work is nothing short of excellence.
Dave and his team continue to blow my mind - they are artists! Just look at these hvac panels - one for my 456M and one for the f355 spider - refinished knobs and buttons with laser etched graphics and his better than oem finish match overlays are perfect. I greatly appreciate Dave’s eagle eyes, see the final product on the vents, and highly recommend their services. (Bradan should consider Sticky Rx as his work is equally passionate and deserving of this perfection!) Delivery received from Dave at Sticky_Rx. Can’t express enough how pleased I am with their work - from packaging, communication to the obvious superior finish and laser etching they provide on the parts - and is near spot on finish color match to oem (for instance the gate trim shifter panel in the pix is oem as mine was damaged - and see how the hvac overlay and refinish in the mirror trim by Sticky_Rx match perfectly) - well done Dave! Can’t wait to get these reinstalled... Thank you, Ed We greatly appreciate your business and support. Folks - Ed had a few parts broken beyond the point of economical repair so we suggested new parts for those. We sometimes refinish new parts right away but it's costly and Ed decided to wait until they fail. We are seeing the finish of new parts not be the same as original and not consistent from part to part. Take a look at the ashtray - you will notice the body has a different seen than the lid. The shifter gate also does not match the ashtray exactly likely a different supplier. The new parts in general seem to be slightly more gloss that originals.
We could count 4 dozen locations on these cars with sim finish conditions - it’s part of the analog wonder of them / I enjoy the slight differences, gives patina . If I wanted a perfectly molded, consistent dash, engine compartment, or body I would have bought GMC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just completing an order for a good customer down under in Australia This order has a few unique details aside from the fact the car is RHD The parts for this car came to us in pretty bad shape given someone messed with them in the past. When refinishing lever switches, in order to keep the cost down, in 95% of the cases we don't refinish the switch icon as it's just not needed. With these, we had no choice but refinish them and laser etch the graphics. We also had no choice but to refinish the switch levers. So, what you see here is every single part fully refinished. No paint masks, no decals, no water-slide decals, no rattle can or soft touch finishes. Fully refinished parts with hard touch coatings that will never fail and crisp, laser etched graphics which will illuminate as did the OEM Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here’s mine all put back together. Thanks again Dave! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Dave I just realized your work is not too bad. You can post a picture of my work if you want. Its not quite as good as yours so thats why I sent it in. About 4 years with plasti dip Some may say theres have lasted better but I drove my car alot for these years. Likely 20 times a month.
Your scrared to show the quality of other peoples work arent you. You sly fox changing the subject now. Its ok. I am looking forword to getting them back I dont appreciate them being called horrible either, just so you know. They worked fine, and looked good albeit from a distance
Hey Guys - so quick little cell phone video that we posted on Instagram @Sticky_Rx showing our laser test panels.
We often get in 348 / 355 center vents to refinish and the small little vent slap pivot pieces are missing and these cannot be bought separate. So, given we have a full machine shop - we just machine them from solid Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is a crappy cell phone video we posted on Instagram of some vents we just completed for Elliott down in Australia - Thank you Elliott
I would think so. Looks like your OEM overlay is toast. We would need to make sure the plastic panel is not damaged but when we are done it should look like this Send me an email: dave.lelonek@**********.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
