I have a 2011 458 Italia, a 2015 CVO Road Glide Ultra, a custom bobber and a custom chopper. some days are Ferrari days, some days are bike days. No issues.

As I mentioned previously, the V-Rod is the only H-D that interests me. I wish they would go more high tech like that, instead of clinging to the ancient air cooled engines, but I guess they know their market.

Y’all have something against Japanese bikes?:D I have an R6 and a KTM200XCW (2 strokes are cool). The Yamaha is mostly for the track and the KTM is for trails........ I ride on the road seldomly.

I have had all sorts of bikes ..... mostly sport bikes and dirt bikes... some naked bikes etc.... covered all four Japanese brands and loved every bike. Would never buy my R6 purely as a street bike... rearsets are way too high.... perfect for the track.

Not sure why I couldn't edit my previous post.... so here is another one. If you (speaking in generality here, not anyone specific) haven't tried riding at the track (most bikes can do trackdays) and you are thinking of trying... give it a go!!! There is no experience like it. Here is a pic taken at Jennings, FL.... many moons ago..... and although the pic might look cool, I totally messed up that corner entry.

The only thing I have against Japanese - and Italian - bikes is that I'm 6'2" with a 35" inseam. :) That's why I ride big Beemers.

Have you tried on a KTM 1290 Superduke for size? Austrians are big dudes.... I don't even come close to getting both feet down on my KTM. I've had many a tip over with the KTM due to being not tall enough (5'8" isn't exactly short) :D Come to a stop... don't realize I am on the crest of a path.... go to put my foot down... and uh-oh.... there she goes again. On the plus side.... I'm pretty much perfect build for sport bikes... on the track.

I love KTM's but the dual sport models. Never had one, but friends have. I put an R1100GS suspension on an R1100RS. You would never be able to ride this bike. :)

Yes, my BFF lives just a few miles off of the Peaks of Otter exit at mile marker 68. He and I built that bike. It has parts from several models. The fork is from an R1100S (Much lighter), the Telelever A-Arm is from an R1100R, and as I said, the GS off road suspension. Many other details.

KTM200 seat height is 38"... and the bike has stock suspension. Note I am leaning the bike and my foot is on the raised side of the trail.

Taylor Park - Colorado :) Basically if you go up Cottonwood pass on the paved part and drop down the other side not paved, you end up in Taylor Park. The paved bit of Cottonwood is a stellar riding road.
