    I feel your pain skip. Mine is up there as well but it could have been under 2500 but nooooo I just had to change a bunch of other stuff. Lets not forget the cool stuff either.

    Had too do some more sticky parts as well so thanks to Dave and stickyrx

    Question for you Skipp
    How are you holding the motor to tighten the crank pulley

    Image Unavailable, Please Login I hear ya Grant. It’s expensive, but really rewarding. This car is at the pinnacle of the old-school breed. It’s mechanically and physically a work of art.

    To answer your question, “special tools, there is no better way” according to my tech.

    Given I want to tighten to the torque spec, this is something I've been wondering too. Might need to make a tool - not sure. I'll ask a few of my tech buddies.

    Yes that was what. Did last time and it took the full impact to get it off so it does tighten lots. Just would be nice if it was easy to torque with a wrench

    That guy is fast at an engine removal. I need a few workers like that and i could buy a laferrari

    Just tightened as described but still worried it could come loose so I safety wired it so I can sleep at night for the next 5 plus years

    Did you find and put new red shielding on your main oil tank hoses??

    I considered that too, but mine is turning so smoothly I decided it could stay a bit longer.
