On my 488 spider only 997 actually (a Porsche I’ve loved ;) )
I believe "not driving your Ferrari is like saving your girlfriend for her next boyfriend" I drive my 458 or 355 whenever the weather is nice and zero chance of rain near me !! LOL I want to die having enjoyed my possessions, not just looked at them ….. I also collect rare watches …… and I wear them for the same reason I'm up to 15K on my 458 and 40K on my 355 Enjoy the ride, Ed
I put about 2k miles on mine already, had it for 5 weeks, car was in shop for 2 weeks. I don't commute, just like driving aimlessly
I put 1000 miles on my Cali in two weeks before it tried to kill me. Had the 458 5 days and we are at a disappointing 150. Give me time! Aimless driving is my thing too...my lesser half and family think I'm weird.
Put 1000 miles on my 488 in first 3 weeks. F depreciation I intend to enjoy my car. When I get my M5 back out of body shop miles may slow... a little.
488 is close to 5000ks - used only for spirited out of city drives - prefer TTS and/or Cayenne as my daily/s..... I expect to put another 3 k on 488 by years end. Agree these cars are to be used - if 488 was the only ride in my stable it would have much more ks on it by now. Have loved every K so far and plan keeping it that way. Sensational car!
Put a thousand miles on my 458 in its first month of ownership. Loved every minute. Dont plan on slowing down. If I was worried about depreciation, I wouldn't have bought it.
Most don't worry about depreciation until the loss is realized. I expect to take a hit on my 488 but it'll be the size of that hit which will ultimately determine whether I repeat the exercise again with the Ferrari brand. For me, enjoyment is part and parcel of owning these types of cars - the main purpose of owning - however, there is no need to buy a brand which wipes too much of the smile off your face when there are other brands in the same class which deliver the same level of enjoyment for a lot les$ pain.
I use them and just don't care. Finally you have to use them or it is meaningless to buy them. I put 10k on the 458 in 14 months. Put already 1.000 on the 488 in three weeks
I put nearly 8k miles on my 458 in 6ish months. I put 7k miles on my 488 in 10 months and the car spent 2 of those months broken at the dealer from brake failure and a fire. Now drive a Mclaren.
29,000 miles on my 2013 458 Spider. 1300 on my 488 Spider. Drive them for enjoyment. No garage queens here
I put about 6,000 miles on my nice cars per year (4,000 or so are track miles). So I had about 12,000 on my 458 and my 650S after 2 years each, and I just passed 6,000 on my 488. Right on schedule. 488 is by far my favorite car of all time, and I've had lots. I may even keep it past 2 years this time. (Aw, who am I kidding, I'll get the replacement as soon as it comes out.)
Hi Principissimo I read your post about mileage and I agree with your analysis,a lot easier said then done,I am making progress driving more & more and can’t put into words the feelings while I’m driving and looking at the car.you mentioned you collect rare watches, I have a very rare Audemars Piquet that I’m interested in selling, if you are interested please contact me at [email protected]. Thanks

Nice to read about others actually driving their cars. I put 13K on my 458 in 15 months, and now at 7K on my 488 in 10 months. I have to walk past my Ferrari spaces to get to what should be my DD, and that's a problem because I never seem to get there, the "pull" of the F cars is just too strong...... Jim
