Makes sense to announce an open top or two at Pebble Beach considering the theme this year is open top ferraris.
They are only announcing one new car at Pebble Beach. Invitations to preview the new V8 on the 23rd and 24th have already been sent out.
They have only resumed all the info we have posted here; and badly. There won’t be more info around internet until some of us reveal more.
Would be nice to finally see the Rossa concept go beyond the design exercise phase as I really thought that car was going to influence future designs (except the front though) but never did. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cHS5m7NQDVE/TieMmwTIAiI/AAAAAAAAAPU/rgTWOFE0e2s/s1600/Ferrari+Pininfarina+Rossa%253B.jpg
Image Unavailable, Please Login I thought it was interesting that Ken Okuyama car was so similar to the Rossa. It’s also based on a 599.
So if information that Pista Aperta will not be LE is correct and we know that 812 Monza will be VERY LIMITED I am thinking there may be a chance that VS of 812 will be a "regular" production model limited only by time like Speciale and Pista. Given assumed price point and demand I can see logic in this.Maybe just hopeful but what do others think ?
I think Ferrari could do the “812TDF” in 899 or 999 pieces if there is demand...Personally, looking at the market, I think demand will soften by the time the next VS is out, so it will be limited and around the same numbers as the TDF. As for the “Monza” (if that is the name), assuming the cost will be 2x or 3x more than a regular 812, the numbers will be very small and the car will go quickly. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
I would love to get the TDF version but I’m afraid I won’t meet the criteria... <sigh> Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
