Thank you! I personally prefer the standard wheels - they remind me of the design used on the LaFerrari. The interior is basic black with red stitching and standard seats with electric adjustment. To be honest, that's the only photo I've taken of the car (I'm not much of a shutterbug!).
FWIW, I do NOT have Homelink on my 2018 but still have power folding mirrors and have the Goldrake racing seats as well (actually have the carbon fiber racing package).
Definitely an overpriced option-all I wanted was the power folding mirrors. Dealership insisted it was the only way to have them without the “full electric” seats and there were some previous threads here indicating the same. Seems like maybe they changed to make them standard in later model years? (As they should be) Oh well, too late for me now...I’ll use the Homelink and I’m sure I’ll appreciate the auto-dimming mirrors...just not a great value. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Prior to 2018 MIH2 or Full Electric Seats was required in order to get the power folding mirrors ( needed it in my 2017 GTB ). Apparently starting in 2018 it is no longer required but don't hold your breath for your salesman to tell you that since MIH2 is a nonsensical $2313 option. Note that Homelink does not work with many garage door openers without buying a "bridge" to allow it to function. This makes it an even more worthless option. Also, the rear view camera and HELE....now standard instead of a chargeable option as it was in the past. Wonder what other options, if any, are now standard ?
Congrats on your new 488, enjoy her to the maxx ! I think you should considder your idea on a valve-less exhaust … With the valve-system you at least have a choice about loud or not loud; without valves it is always loud… A system with valves can easily be open allways … with a switch … All the best !
I was surprised to see the satellite radio “wart” antenna when I received my final production photo. I didn’t realize it was standard when I placed my order - I assumed it was only available with the hifi option. After I received the photo I found old posts indicating that it became standard in 2017 or 2018? I would have preferred to avoid that little bump on the roof. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I am in the process of ordering a MY2019 488 Spider and have some questions for you guys. Thank you in advance for a response to these questions. My understanding is that rear sensor is standard equipment even on the MY2018. So the only thing I would need to have a front sensor is to add: Front Parking Sensors - code PAR2 for $1302. Is this not true? Since I assume you ordered the option 'Rear Parking Camera', code PAC1 for $2700, did Ferrari simply not charged you this amount on my final Monroney sticker and you saved that amount from the figure you were expecting to pay? What is option MIH2? Is that just 'Power Folding Mirrors'??? What option is HELE??? Would like to know...and also what HELE is! *** Finally, these questions: 1) Is there anything else included as Standard in MY2019 that was previously charged as an option by Ferrari on MY2017 & MY2018? 2) Does anyone knows if Option ULEZ, 'Upper Area Headliner - Leather in Color' includes actual leather in the headliner of the Spider? Standard appears to be a black fabric type material. 3) Does anyone has photos of 'Matt Grigio NART painted inner details (code ALLP) for $1687? My understanding is that the new base price of a MY2019 488 Spider is $291,627. The delivery & other charges are $3750. The starting total is now $295,377. There is a new option on the 2019 for tri-color buttons on the bridge that mimic the Italian national colors. Saludos, Eduardo Scottsdale AZ
My birth pic was around 1 June, so just before that, I guess. I did not pay the higher base. Mine sat at port for almost 60 days. By the way, I did similar, but different sprinkles of red inside - looks great!
HELE = Stop&Start system. It also includes radiator fans with brushless technology and petrol pump with continuous control, according to Ferrari press release. Yes. Black fabric (tessuto Nero) is standard.
Is that the same Jamie140 from the Rennlist forum? If so, saludos from Scottsdale! **** Thanks. **** I know that. My question is if I order Option ULEZ, 'Upper Area Headliner - Leather in Color' in 'Rosso' (red leather in my case) will the headliner portion of the spider be 'tessuto Rosso' or 'rosso leather'? *** If anyone else can assist with other of my inquiries it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Maybe different countries , I don't have it. I have the aerial in the windscreen. Same as the side reflectors on the front and rear bumper. Thank God we don't have them here Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just some clarification -- while the 2019 base price went up from $252,800 to $262,647 (a 3.9% increase) the TOTAL price on my particular build only increased by $4,845 (1.58%) from my original buyer's order from February. I wasn't charged for the reverse camera, the price for the goldrake racing seats went down quite a bit, red contrast stitching and the red stripe on the racing seats were less expensive.
Thanks Maciek! Thanks Rocket! Can you tell us exactly what is the 2019 pricing for "Goldrake Racing Seat'? It was US$ 10,799 in MY2017. It would help me greatly to know what is the lower price for 2019! How much is stripe & contrasting stitching in 2019 & what was $ before? Thanks in advance. Hi, Jamie! I am getting camera. Debating 'Goldrake' at $??? vs standard seats (Full Electric) at $7593. I am 5'7". Any recommendations - pro & cons? Saludos, Eduardo
I expected the Goldrakes to be $10,799 but they were $9,112. I expected the contrast stitching to be $759 and the red stripe on the seats to be $1,805 for a total of $2,564...but as you can see on the window sticker (below) the “other options” line shows only $1,940. I don’t have the exact breakdown between the two items, but those are the only things left over that could be covered in that line item. Very helpful. Thanks. I am 5'7". If I get 'Goldrakes' I thought I would put them at their highest (most elevated) of three factory holes position & hope for the best. Why did you feel the need of the expensive 'Racing Seat Lifter' at $2531? I don't see many people with racing seats ordering this manual lifter option with those seats. So I am curious as to why you decided to do so. My dealer also suggested to me ordering 'in/out electric mirrors+homelink'. Mainly because with it the rear view mirror looks more substantial. Was this the reason you ordered them? What else does this option get you? Folding exterior rear view mirrors? Any other option you regret not ordering now that you got your 488? By the way, congratulations on your beautiful 488 gtb! Saludos, Eduardo Scottsdale
