Can you please explain me how to use the battery charger of 488? I connected it on the back of the car but, after two weeks, the battery was at the same level of when I've plugged it in. Thanks
its a tender. Keeps the battery from draining. If your battery was fully charged (after a drive) then it just keeps it charged.
I have a 488 and just connect the Wire to back on number as you know And it should show green on other dude of lights when charged Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe take a pic. Does your car start? Next time you drive, toggle the left side display two moves to the left of speed and that will give you the battery charge. Should be around 13.7 when driving.
Note if the charger is plugged into an active circuit ie garage door opener and other devices the green light will often go out as the slight voltage fluctuations cause it to to renter charge mode. Also if the car is locked with alarm on and or the key is in or near the car there will be more battery drain. I keep all my keys well away from the cars in a metal cabinet to eliminate communication between the key and the car Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

I'd say so. The batteries in this car are very susceptible. If the charge falls below the critical point the battery will have permanent damage. Mine had a new battery under warranty only 6 weeks ago... The charger lights should all be on within 24 hours.
Here the pic of it as soon as i’ve plugged it in. The problem that last time it then did not move from there Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's interesting , the rectangle led in mine is green. The last round led after the rectangle I have not seen it lit ?
I went to the dealer today to sort out a DRS issue - turns out DRS (drag reduction system) is activated when you are going about 60+ miles per hour, and it will be displayed on the left tft showing that is active. I thought it was a problem as I have never noticed it before. While there, I asked why the battery tender took a day or so to have all the lights lit - their explanation was that it depends on when and how long the car had been driven as well as where the battery cycle was. I was also told that Ferrari expects you to drive 2500 miles per year otherwise a dead battery is not covered under the warranty. Interesting....
Here's what the display on my charger shows several hours or so after driving the car. Also, note that I used nylon standoffs (~3/8") to facilitate thermal circulation in the event of excessive heat build-up. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
