Kimi.. doing pretty darn good for a reject 'laggard' I said it before i know ..but not too late for Kimi to launch a challenge ..maybe his last crack at WDC again? But he has to put it on pole and lead from start to finish with ricci or lewis behind.
"No Fu@k$ Given Kimi", still the best driver on the grid lol. If he keeps-up this pace through tomorrow, Sunday is gonna be a cracker!
The Mercedes are very close at a track where they should suck. The Red Bulls are not there to give us some buffering. And Vettel crashed again. I think this is going to be a looong race.
Might be right, but i don't think so. Ferrari doesn't really show pace on Fridays, so i have a feeling they will be on pole fairly comfortably. And I predict (hope) it will be Kimi.
Not certain what to read in the P2 times. I know that Hamilton and Kimi were using Hypers, but that the tires pretty much fell off a cliff after one or two laps so I imagine the plan will be to use ultras in Q2 and hypers for the drive for pole.
He won't be in front of Vettel at the end of the race (if Vettel doesn't stuff it) and more importantly he won't be ahead of HAM, which is business as usual for him.
I see nothing wrong with SV hitting a wall in practice. Get it out of the way and move on. Hitting a wall in the race is something else. Ferrari looks to have pace over Red Bull which is who I thought would be second fastest at this track. Lewis is making that Merc look pretty good.
Seb is ahead of Kimi in qualifying 11-3 and it's one of his best tracks. There is nothing to suggest he needs a gearbox change. ...and giant LOL at Kimi as the "best driver on the grid"
Neither is Vettel, to be honest. If it wasn't for Kimi's not-at-fault retirements and some pink panther crashing into him at Baku, Kimi would be within 25 points of Vettel. Probably within 15. Not bad for a driver artificially held back by an incompetent team.
Enjoy watching your little boi get his ass kicked by Hamilton again. That is if Lewis gets a chance. Seb will likely hit a wall or his team mate first.
