I'd like to roll like that. But, at my age, it would likely take the rest of my life to get a beard that epic! T
I thought you knew a lot about football. Let me break it down in terms you may understand. The QB had time to throw to his receivers, who were open enough, yet the passes were either over thrown or underthrown, summed up with one word as inaccurate (which I used and thought you would understand). One of them was a pick-6, just like yesterday's game vs Detroit. When he threw these inaccurate passes and the INTs, he was not under pressure from the best defense therefore the best defense in their home stadium had no bearing on those plays. He was pressured and sacked other times, which were a direct result of that best defense. He was no better yesterday, at home, vs Detroit, so what's your excuse for him? If not for a questionable holding call on Detroit that negated an interception that would have at least given Detroit a tie, Garopallo gave that game away (along with Shanahan). Oh, and I dont know of any rookie that gets paid $27 million per year. Is that basic enough for you to understand? Or do you still want to argue my posts (your favourite thing to do here)?
Nice win for the BEARS. However, Trubisky is still far from polished and the defense gets gassed again in the second half. But yeah, that was a brilliant interception by BEARS royalty, Prince Amukamara. It turned out to be the game winner.
The BEARS were the only NFC North division team to actually win their game this past weekend! That hasn't happened in a long time.
I'm rarely wowed wowed by a play but Prince seemed to make the move on that ball before it had left the hands of the QB. Talk about knowing the play was coming.
I think Ian Eagle, Kevin Harlan, and Kevin Burkhart are the best commentators by a huge margin. Everyone else is meh or worse.
You simply don't like Garopallo, that's all. You think he is overpaid (and he may be), and you think he is a bad QB, so I have absolutely NO idea how he went 6-0 to end last season, do you? If he was as bad as you say, 6-0 would be impossible? And thank you for the condescending reply, I never expected such smart-assedness from anyone on here.
Well, there's one thing I agree with John Finstein on one thing. It's that the fact the NFL says they're going to use the Clay Matthews play as an example of what 'roughing the passer' looks like they should just start playing with flags.
OK, I finally got a chance to look @ this play. Seems to me that he grabbed him around the waist to take him down?!? I'm sure NFL will do a good job handling this. They're doing a stellar job defining what a catch is. T
So what? Roger and the billionaire boys don't care. Clay Matthews tackle should be used as a textbook example of what a proper tackle is. And the league says it's basically sexual assault. They're all doing bath salts.
Lol....Aikman salty earlier today, someone stated that Ryan Fitzpatrick has more career TDs than Aikman...and Aikman tweeted "Who cares".....well, obviously you do Troy otherwise you wouldnt have tweeted to begin with. Why would Aikman even respond to that? He has more Superbowls than Fitzpatrick; that's the only stat that counts.
