more possible that future cars will be fatter than current :p
I think that Ferrari goes on war with Mclaren who will put more horsepower under the bonnet, soon all sports cars will have power level similar to Bugatti/Koenigsegg, you just need to put bigger turbo :D

Ferrari doesn't just slap on bigger turbochargers. Just look the engine differences between the 488 GTB and the Pista.

With Ferrari anything is possible but with all these exotic materials there has to be a way to fix the damage after an accident that is practical. That is a benefit of aluminum. Multi-material may be different grades of aluminum depending on the amount of strength required in a specific area. Also they use titanium for connecting rods perhaps they will expand the use of titanium to other parts of the vehicle.
There is also a debate in the industry about the kind of carbon fiber utilized and the resulting differences in production time and cost. Certainly a delivery problem (and that could be supply time or quality) with some exotic material would be a greater risk than going with a relatively conventional aluminum construction design program...

Agreed. But the changes they made seem to prepare the setup for more boost as the biggest factor to increased HP as the posted increase seems too conservative for the changes made IMO. With the hard work out of the way would be easy to bet bigger number primarily from boost now. Of course, they are the worlds leading engine builder IMO and can hit any HP target they want and do it as a whole system.

Hopefully they improve the 3 year warranty on the battery unless you like paying 150k out of pocket for a cooked battery
