    Hello,
    How much ground clearance do you have on the center of the Front Bumper?

    Translating your post: "Concerning my 348 ts 1993, I have 14 cm. I have speed problems. What is the right height?"

    Hopefully Tim, Ernie and others will chime in. But I recall that a proper alignment, plus the ride height, are important.

    Due to the way these cars are (were?) constructed at the factory, ride height is measured at the suspension chassis pick up points.
    Due to the way these cars are (were?) constructed at the factory, the front and rear bumpers can vary by nearly 1/2" with the ride height set perfectly.

    The 348 WSM states that::
    The front ride height is 130-134mm measured at the lower rear bolt on the front A-Arm chassis pickup point.
    The rear ride height is 125-129mm measured at the lower rear bolt on the rear A-Arm chassis pickup point.

    Car must have proper inflation pressures in the tires*, be properly aligned, be sitting on flat level ground, preferably with 1/2 tank of gasoline and drivers weight in the driver's seat.

    (*) new tires are best, here, since any differential tire wear will show up as measurement errors when measuring the ride heights.

    Now, if you are going to this trouble, it is best to do this on a set of scales so that the cross weight LF+RR = RF+LR are balanced within 30 pounds.

    Hello Mitch Alsup,
    I thank you for your detailed answer, I wanted to get an idea about the differences in height on our cars in their uses at the moment T, I struggle to cross the retarders lol.
    I find my 348 very pleasant handling, anyway it will go to the ban of geometry to resume the settings following the big revision.
    My fear was also that my 348 had been lowered earlier.
    Thanks to the previous contributor for their measurements. (I am average)

    I lowered my 348 as much as I could with the stock adjustable shocks. The chassis rake, front to back was kept to factory settings. (Tips hat to fatbillybob for the help).
    What helped my handling, on a daily driven basis, was to remove as much negative camber as possible. I did this for both the front and rear wheels. I ignored the factory alignment specs and had it aligned to be neutral, and drive straight, because I was not driving the car on a track. The vast majority of the miles on my 348 are highway miles.

    In my opinion the only factory alignment specs that is useful is the chassis rake.
