Out of the 3, the orange one in the middle of the group shot seems to have a pronounced dip in the front hood.. I wonder if this was meant to help prevent front end lift.
Same licence plate. Same rear wheel arches... Later, a rear wing was mounted. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I didn't wrote that. Photos in my posts #17053 and #17064 show the same car LU-SV13. The white/grey/green junk roadster is #4808.

Hi Raymond, Thank-You for your reply. But I'm afraid this red Miura reg.OAJ252 (B) at the Lamborghini 40th Anniv. meeting in may 2003 is not #3378. If my photos are correctly classified, #3378 was attending the 40th Anniv. event in Italy, but it was registered AN270HD (IT) and had - among several typical details - one single bonnet mirror and a chrome windscreen surround. OAJ252 had 2 bonnet mirrors and a black windscreen surround.... Unfortunately, I've no picture of OAJ252 & AN270HD parked next to each other... So, if these two red Miura were effectively present at this same meeting in Italy in 2003, one of them should not be #3378. But perhaps I'm missing something... I've also read in some older posts that #3378 was confirmed as being the Miura belonging to the Roland Dieteren collection in Belgium - but the several pictures of it in his collection was are more showing the one registered OAJ252 ?... Curious to learn more about this car... Maybe the prettiest car ever made.. I don’t see the need for ANY body mods from their original look- just my opinion
Bruno and Raymond, Bruno is correct. OAJ252 is not 3378. AN270HD is 3378, which participated in the Italian events for the 40th anniversary, at the factory, and it is now my car. Here, I attach a photo of the Italian vehicle registration card showing plate AN270HD is registered to autotelaio 3378: Image Unavailable, Please Login As Joe indicated correctly a few weeks ago, 3378 is currently at Polo Storico (arrived there one week ago from the US) and is currently undergoing a complete concours restoration. If there is enough interest, perhaps I would start one with the understanding that it would be for historical documentation and informational purposes and benefits of the community and not for fighting (perhaps we can keep the fights to this thread ). -Vince
