I may be biased...but at the last cruise-in a kid called my 360 a "future car"

Most people are surprised when I tell them my 360 is eighteen years old.

Wow, 308 looks like a kid's toy in that picture compared to the U-Boat.

The 360 continues to get much better with age IMO.

The F40 is "IT" for me.
Dont think it will be topped.
In that wedge look the 355 is very nice and like it better than the oval egg 360 and 430.
That said a 430 Scud is on my short list for "next car".
Also on that list is the 599. There is just something elegant and understated about that design that also shows muscle. Hard to explain.

The older 60's Ferraris are nice but not exceptional.

I have a 512 Boxer that is like a 288GTO to me; Smooth, sensual and muscular. Much more than the 308 I had. The only quirk on the Boxer to me is the back side which is a little too busy. Its my second favorite Ferrari (other than an F40 which I missed at the station as the prices went crazy).

It's been a while since I posted here I think: Favorites.

Hypercar: F50 - V12, manual, sexy. Not interested in any other Ferrari hypercar.

V12 GT: F12 TDF - V12, DCT, sexy. Only a 575M manual ties it, and for obvious reasons (One of the few 599 manuals is a third possibility).

V12 2+2: 612 Scaglietti. V12, F1/a. sexy. "The Last Beautiful Girl." My next Ferrari, after I finish enjoying my 308 (Bucket list car). I'll keep it for the rest of my life.

Mid-V8: My 360 sunroof/stick. 40 valve V8, manual, sunroof, sexiest mid V8 ever, and most beautiful mid engine car since the Dino 246. Keeping it for the rest of my life. :)

The Portofino is the only front V8 I've ever been interested in. Haven't seen one in the metal yet, though.

Ferraris I never liked: Least favorites.

Hypercar: F40 - V8 turbo, manual, no sex appeal whatsoever. Brutish. Hated it from the first time I saw it in 1996. Never drank that Kool-Aid.

V12 GT: 812 Superfast - WTF were they thinking with that rear end?

V12 2+2: FF/GTC4 Lusso. I really want to like them, but I can't. A Ferrari hot hatch was never anything I considered. A great car that looks awful. So cheap now I still might buy one. :p

Mid-V8: 348. I don't think this requires any explanation. The 355 is much better.

I understand the mission of the Cali/Cali T, but I just have zero interest in them.

What I want that doesn't exist: Mid-I4 hybrid Dino with a manual, about the size of a 308 (Ferrari has recently patented an I4 hybrid power unit. I wonder what they plan to do with it?).

These are just opinions, and opinions are like ********. :D

I feel the same way about the 612. I used to think the 456M was the better looking car, but now I'm not so sure. Those star wheels are also the right size for the 612. I like them a lot.

George, I remain convinced between the 456M and the 612 but I do understand. With the 612 and the 599, I can't quite seem to catch the front end grill, vents, and curvatures. Just not the right balance for me. I do love the 599 rear roof line with the flying buttresses and I'm so-so about it's rear. The 612's rear seems too curved around the lights....too little definition of shape. And then, the BIG problem, the 612 side depressions from the front wheel wells toward the rear are backwards!! Of course, on the 456M, they are facing the "right" way!! Cheers.

    Shiv,
Lovely picture. I really was just busting on George. Of course, had they turned the scallops the correct (!...lol) way, then they wouldn't need the shark grills to exit the air....integration of these needs on the 456M! All rather good fun...
