On the other side of the World. My Father passed on nearly five years ago and my Brother in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, has been hard at work getting his 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina back on the road after standing so long, due to the usual lengthy estate settlement being sorted out. The car has close to 80 000 Kilometres / 49 700 Miles on the clock. My 90-year old Mother who resides in a Care Home, will not part with it, as they had many memorable outings in it, so it will stay with my brother and be driven sparingly over weekends / holidays etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks Pete, but not mine. The title is in my Mother's name (Never had a drivers licence!). My brother will look after it and being a Concours d’Elegance fan, will keep it spick and span.
My Brother sent me a few photo updates of my Mother's 2000 Berlina. The Alfasud 1350 TI belongs to my Brother. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

The Car was assembled from a knocked down kit in 1973 at Willowvale Motor Industries, in the then Salisbury, Rhodesia (Now Harare, Zimbabwe). The color is Chiredzi Yellow. Chiredzi is a town in Zim's Lowveld farming (mainly sugarcane) district. My Father emigrated from Zimbabwe to Pietermaritzburg, South Africa in 1982.
