Yeah, it was posted in Silver. Nobody got the driver's name but I am certain I've seen the car at local West Palm events.
It has been two days since someone (yet to be named ) drove a 360 off a dock. So far there are many unanswered questions: Why were the police talking to the driver? Who was the driver? Did he own the 360? Were/are there any charges? WHY DID HE DRIVE IT INTO THE WATER?? Surely someone local has some additional info. Curious 360 owner Al
Suffice it to say that it's unlikely we'll see this car on the lawn at Cavallino later this month! By way of correction, the incident occurred not in West Palm Beach, but rather on the island (Palm Beach), at the dock at the north end that looks across the Intracoastal towards Singer Island.
Here's an update.. What could make you so mad that you punish your Ferrari? https://www.wesh.com/article/florida-man-drives-ferrari-off-dock-into-water-on-purpose/25758499
That answers the question of who the driver was. The rest of the questions are still unanswered: Why were the police talking to the driver? Did he own the 360? Were/are there any charges? WHY DID HE DRIVE IT INTO THE WATER?? Also, Palm Beach Fire Rescue says alcohol and drugs were not involved in the incident. Al
These images were posted on Instagram last night. From experience, if the car has paddle shift and has been sitting a long time, they may be prone to taking off without warning. It happened to me last year in a 612 Scaglietti. BHW Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did you see the video? First, he was on a dock, where he should not have been. Second, he reversed 15-20 feet, put in in gear and went full speed ahead into the water. Doubt it was unintended acceleration.
