The Clintons are a great American family. Of arch-criminals. Trump was the much lesser of two evils that were served up in 2016 as Presidential candidates. Actually we've had our own versions of Trump from years back... anyone who claims to be 'not a politician' usually just means they're in it for ego or personal benefit. I watched Moore's 11/9 last night and the most interesting part was how the mistakes of the Democratic party basically facilitated the rise of Trump. I struggle to get past his whole 'make America great' shtick - so was the place not great in 2016???? He's going to get his ass handed to him re trade... The deficit has continued to rise even with his big stick approach; Harley Davidson will be just the first of an avalanche of big companies trying to sheet the blame for falling profit on the tariffs.
All of Moore's stuff is sensationalist crap IMO And no, I don't believe the USA is as great as it once was. Also, put down what he's doing all you like, he won the vote and has made some terrific changes AND retains his popularity. Go trump! He's doing it for the love of his country, not a career choice. The Democratic party didn't do a very good job of selecting a candidate. It happens in US elections on both sides every election cycle. The tariffs will start to hurt Trump if they last for another six months. Higher prices are beginning to pass through to the consumer now. Up until this point the importer and retailers were willing to absorb the tariffs but IMHO that is coming to an end. Farmers are being crushed as well. The US has some many extra pigs right now pork is under $1 per pound. What is that like 2.75 Aud per Kilo??? Harley Davidson died during the Obama years. No one told Trump until 2015. HD is an awful company that has made every wrong manufacturing and marketing choice possible. HD involved themselves with Buell to make unpopular expensive motorcycles. I'm old, so I always find it funny that no one remembers that HD almost went bankrupt and were purchased by AMF. During the AMF years, HD produced the worst thing on two wheels. I really think the best the US can hope for is two years of nothing bad happening.
