I purchased issue #7 last week at a book stand at Retromobile in Paris, despite having a fully paid subscription……… Marcel Massini
Congratulations ,we both fell into the same trap! What's the line, "screw me once shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me" Will I be renewing my subscription?
I got issue no 7 delivered to me from Newsstands. Co.uk. Took 6 days from time of ordering and I think this is the route I will be taking from now on.
Enzo magazine is making a fortune !! Seems everybody (including me) has at least one or two doubles in their collection.
Illegal downloading is killing the magazine business. But Enzo issue #7 was available online on several of those downloading sites about the same day it was published.... If I had paid for a subscription and kept waiting ages for the magazines to arrive, the alternative road of downloading would be very tempting. It would not even give me a bad conscience as I already had paid for the magazine.
Miracles do happen... Today, much to my surprise, ENZO #7 arrived in the mail!! Hopefully your copies will arrive soon also. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just paid my subscription online after purchasing issue #6 at a newstand here in NYC. Hopefully they send me issue#7 and not issue #6!
Ok; I’ve been an idiot! I sign up for a subscription to Enzo. Being promised issue number 7 first. Over three weeks later it still hadn’t turned up. Reading this thread... no surprise there. I wanted the 348 article so seeing a copy in the gas station I bought it. Not the greatest writing. Overall the paper quality is poor, closer to toilet paper than a premium magazine. Image quality is consequently poor as well. Not at all what I would expect and not a patch in other magazines. For the money, not impressed!!! For the rubbish delivery, I’ll be phoning up tomorrow and demanding my money back.
Hi Marcel, This reply is a convoluted way of contacting you as any published email address I found failed to work. But there is a connection as my 330 GTC appeared in the second issue of Enzo magazine. I am researching it's early history. How is it best to contact you to see if you may be able to help ? Thanks. Clara.
I agree on quality of printing etc., but still like the content. I think it usually contains a few good portraits of collectors, interesting dealers, events etc. beyond the usual introduction of new models and race reports. Much more in this direction than you usually get publicly, besides the internal publications of clubs and dealers, at least here in Europe. No excuse for the terrible delivery process (just got my copy yesterday delivered to my home in Germany), but I would still be glad to see it surviving, because it seems like the content us good and done with a lot of passion. Just my opinion...
Well I think think content is ok, not spectacular. They could easily omit some non-automotive "lifestyle" content from Octane and replace it with the Ferrari articles from Enzo and eliminate the quarterly Ferrari magazine entirely.
I have zero complaints about either the paper quality or the image quality. So either you are too demanding or I am not demanding enough. C'est la vie!
Last week I received issue 189 of Octane. Today I received issue 190. I was unaware that Octane is a weekly. Meanwhile, still no issue 7 of Enzo.......from the same publisher and U.S. distributor as Octane.
