    Good day Mark,

Way back when I had my GT4 I had a third buddy that would have to ride side-saddle in the car... interestingly there were no complaints :) ... Then again our trips were short and so I think it was tolerable... that and to hear the engine and the carbs also helped.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Peter, if you want to know more about your car, let me know.

I found it 3-4 stories up in a storage warehouse in Rhode Island.

It took dismantling the bumper to fit it in the elevator to then take it to floor level.

The owner, Frank, was a really cool old school Italian car guy, he had a Maser BiTurbo he adored (why, I do not know lol), and this GT4.

That's me inspecting the cob webs :)

(no, I don't work for Peter K, I used to broker/buy/sell though, which is how I found it. It took me 4 years to get Frank to let me come look, and not ONCE did he say "308" Dino, he would just say Dino, and ignore me when I asked if it was a 246 or not...#oldguys lol)

What a beautiful time capsule... by chance does it have the original thermoreactor with the rounded tips that exhaust out the bottom side of the tailpipes??

Gee I sure wish I had at least half of all the paperwork you have for your car--a treasure. And to 19633500gt don't knock the Maser Bi turbo too much. In addition to my GT4 I have a beautiful 87 Biturbo which I love. If you ever get to drive a nice one that has been properly sorted out you will understand. I am proud to say I have the two red headed step children from the Ferrari and Maserati family's living in my garage and yes they talk to each other all the time just to make my life interesting.

Wasn't it said, "if your BiTurbo isn't leaking oil, it's out of oil..." :D

But seriously lol, I've been around a well sorted one, and you're right, they are fantastic when well squared away. It's sad though that many were neglected and fell into disarray.

Great story! I would love to hear more. I'll send you my contact info. It's a neat car! I couldnt let it sit there rusting away and came to a fair deal with Peter K. The records made it for me.

Indeed, the car looks great. However, it may be worth checking into if the car can indeed be registered in CA as given in the car's description:

where"this" state is assumed to be CA. I say this, as the pictures shown indicate that smog emissions to be missing ? within the engine bay. I could be wrong, but I thought all OEM emission equipment must be present and functioning in order to register in CA?

That being said...I sure miss my old GT4...

    Cheers,

    Sam

Amazing provenance Petey! You don't get things like that with every car you buy. Rarely ever, in fact. That's a really amazing stack of goodies there. Except that keychain. It's far too worn. I'll PM you my address so you can get rid of that eyesore. - Matt

Ha! I loved when your car was there. I used it as a visual reference while working on mine. I think Vinny's still mad at me for asking him to work on my Montreal lol. He got her up and running after a few months and I even caught him grinning "test driving" it around town.
Lots of screeching and revving- I'm like I though you hated Montreals???

Ah, that was your Monty! He may also ask you if you 'like' the offset pedals on the Gt4.

I looked back in my files and found a photo (circa 2006) of #9898 when it was for sale at what appears to be Fantasy Junction. Back then it was black/tan and was shod with gold centered Gotti wheels.
