    So I may be the longest lurker ever to finally buy a Ferrari. I have been reading since 2005. I originally was looking at a 512 bbi. Did not work out. Then I looked at a Maserati Gihbli. Again it did not work out. 512 testarossa again same thing. In the mean time I purchased a gated manual Gallardo spyder and a spyker c8 spider. Both of these are most likely forever cars and not for sale. I have finally finally found my Fcar. 2013 458 spider red over tan. Thanks to all for helping me to avoid a few cars that might have been suspect in the past based on the info from this forum. I drove one this December and put together a deal in Orlando. I'll keep reading and try to post a bit more. Again thanks for the info.

    No I purchased it from Aston Martin of Orlando from Paolo. Great dealer. They even transferred the car to Ferrari of Orlando for it's free annual after my purchase. Then transported it to NY for me.

    Im glad it wasn’t Ferrari of central Florida...not a bad dealership but the young kid running it isn’t doing

    Im glad it worked out for you. At my end ended up having their sales manager a guy named Giovanni be a total ****** and I had to file a BBB complaint before junior woke up and fixed the situation 3 months after. But her neither here nor there; let’s congratulate the OP again in his purchase ;)

    Congrats!

    I also have a 458 red/tan and a Gallardo but mine is an egear. After driving the Ferrari 458 and get into an egear Lamborghini Gallardo, it switches gears really really slow.

    Thanks everyone. One of the reasons I went for 458 was the transmission. It also helped laying down 2 black stripes going left out of the dealership while just trying to do a soft take off. Love at first! Manual Gallardo and Spyker shift as fast as you can.
