OK. If going, Mia and I would drive up Saturday morning and visit track Saturday afternoon.
Thanks for the info Steve! In reviewing the current timetable (knowing Ferrari schedule will change at least once before the event), do you happen to know when Passione Ferrari Rally will take place? I only see "owner lapping" sessions but can't tell if those are parade laps or lead/follow sessions? BTW, you mention that Race Day Pass is Fri-Sat but this link shows Sat-Sun. $600. https://fnaevents.ferrari.com/event/COTAChallenge2019#
The RALLY will be leaving from Boardwalk Ferrari on Friday at 11am "Parade Lap" on Saturday is PLANNED to be 12:30-1p-ish ( Still to be confirmed ) Owners lapping for 360 and newer cars is on the schedule now ( Still working on at least one session for ALL FCA / FC members ) Thank you for the catch, I have updated my OP above to reflect the correct information Race Days Pass = Saturday & Sunday ! Hope this helps! S
Additional Information from our events coordinator: https://fnaevents.ferrari.com/ferrari-events/passcode Passcode: FCACOTA2019 Remember this option does NOT include access to view the track/race upstairs above the garages where the VIP hospitality is. It does give access to walk around the paddock area and also lunch provided Sat & Sun in a drivers tent near the garages. Most other areas of the track should be open to the public where you can also go to view the races. The main grandstands, facing the garages, is typically open for these races. Also please note it does not include test drives, the Saturday night FNA cocktail reception, or the lapping sessions. The lapping sessions with anything older than a 360 is still a no go unfortunately. But you will get to drive your Ferrari in a parade laps around the track when buying into this option!
Time for you to be 100% sir! $100.00 FCA tickets now available for purchase: https://fnaevents.ferrari.com/ferrari-events/passcode Passcode: FCACOTA2019 ## NOTE: This option does NOT include access into the Ferrari VIP Suites above the garages , lapping sessions, or Saturday night cocktail party! ##

Bonus points to the first person to identify what BBQ Joint the photo of the BBQ plate is from... ! S
Please tell me that pic isn't of ribs?!? Looks like Black's, that's my guess. If you can get there early on Saturday, Snow's in Lexington, did that drive from DFW a couple of years ago, ands those are fun roads. Brisket is best in Tejas. Lucky guys. Post a lot of pics. I'll be out of the country that weekend. T
The sides don't look like Salt Lick. Besides, it isn't exactly on the way between Dallas and COTA. At least not without a pretty creative detour.
Yep! Hour and a half wait at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon included! I couldn't make it easy now , could I? We made the drive over to Salt Lick after confirming the route and getting settled at the hotel. With SXSW being the same weekend as Ferrari Challenge, I wanted to stop in early. SXSW weekend will be crazy busy IMO. Lots of photo's to come! Tom, sorry you two wont be able to make it, though you will be in a pretty cool place yourself! S
Woo hoo! Now for my prize, get someone to fix the espresso machine @ BF. It was on the fritz yesterday! T
so Mia and I will miss the rally, I'm being a good parent keeping her in school all day. we'll leave early Saturday morning to hang at the track and then have the same lodging before we then head east to Louisiana. I still need to figure out what to sign up for Saturday Mia and me.
Be there by noon if you can for Parade Laps, but things will be going on all day! $100.00 FCA / Ferrari Club Tickets: https://fnaevents.ferrari.com/ferrari-events/passcode Passcode: FCACOTA2019 So glad you two are coming out! S
For those that are driving down with me Friday morning from Boardwalk, we will stop by COTA Friday afternoon to pick up credentials before heading to our hotels! Check in to our rooms, freshen up, meet up with other FCA members and Ferrari owners , then head Lockhart for BBQ! For those that cannot make the actual rally down from DFW to ATX , we would like to coordinate a group photo staged in the front main parking lot Saturday morning by 10:30am ( Ferrari's Only ! ) After the photo session, we will all drive in to the infield as a group. Your credentials will be available either Friday at the box office or Saturday morning at the photo session. This photo session will be a group shot, with all of the Ferrari Club chapters together as one big group, with COTA signage in the background! S
Drive leaves at 11am sharp, I would suggest being at Boardwalk Ferrari no later than 10:30am , Ferrari's filled with fuel , ready to go! S
