My advice is to just stop with the excuses and just show a pic of the car if/when it ever materializes. The multiple threads, the chopping and changing along with so many contradictions and now that dodgy fake looking cheque on a piece of A4 paper.....seriously it's just all too much. Just stop it!! A legitimate buyer with real money would never do these things.
This is a fake check? Are you SERIOUS!!! The F8 haven’t start building yet! How can I show you a real car? You’re really funny. These photo was taken by my wife when I built my F8. Are these also excuses, ha? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just tell me, how can you know this check is fake? Don’t tell just because it’s a copy. I leave the check to the dealer, and then they give a copy of my check. What you said is absolutely ridiculous. I asked the salesman to send me an email about my configuration list. After I post it here, you should apologize to me. If I can’t, I’ll apologize to you.
Wow so much effort in trying to validate!!!! As I said, please, enough already.....a legit buyer with real money has no need to do this...AND would never behave like you are doing. I'm not sure who you're trying to convince here but no one's buying. Your game is up - surely you are able to see that? PS. My dealer laughs about the Atelier room - the wannabes who go in with dreams that never materialize into deals. It's like the ultimate photo opportunity for the dreamer.....pull out the good old faithful Iphone and take a few happy snaps for later on. I hope you realize that awful attempt at cheque fudging would never get up. Just stop the nonsense please!!! It's not necessary around here. If/when you ever manage to decide upon what type of Ferrari to buy and are somehow able to miraculously rustle up the necessary funds, then by all means show us a pic. That my friend is the only thing that will work for you from this point on. The rest is just more noise. Goodbye.
Just tell me, if you didn’t deposit yet, will the salesman allow you to take pictures? If the check is real, what will you do? In my opinion, you are just a person who always accuse others without any evidence.
Yang - Good luck with the F8 - 488 is awesome and you will really like the F8. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy the Ferrari journey.
Honestly, I really want to delete it, tell me how to do that. My origin plan is to discuss the market price of Pista in the future.
FWIW, along with my check that was deposited, I had to sign a bill of sale with MSRP TBD prior to securing my 812 order.
But the dealer said it still need couple of weeks to get the price, I asked him today, he said that he is not going to deposit check yet. And he will let me know before he do it. I have no idea why he didn’t ask me to sign a bill, I swear to god the only thing which the salesman ask me to do is give them the check, and then just wait until he get all the price and estimated delivery date.
Correct, this is the standard practice. A photocopy of the check won’t hold up. I am afraid it may be filled into the never going to call you to finalize your order stack. Ask them for a Bill of Sale it will say: The “Model” price at MSRP with date of delivery TBD. They will sometimes even write on the bill of sale Cannot Guarantee Allocation on certain models ie Special Series, but at least you have a legitimate document listing exactly what is intended. Again, welcome to FChat. You will find that sometimes taking a step back and reading different entries, you can learn a lot. When you have a specific question or concern that you were unable to find in other posts then post your question and more often than not you will get multiple members offering their advice or opinions. When they do either listen to it or don’t but engaging negativity won’t further your cause. I have found the Ferrari community to be a very gracious and diverse group most of whom truly love the brand and are car enthusiasts in general. They have a lot of wisdom they are willing to share their experiences and knowledge learned. These are intelligent and successful individuals that chose to spend their time here and just want honest others doing the same. Some suggestions: Don’t put your personal financial information here. It isn’t smart or impressive and doesn’t prove anything about who you are as a person. That is what some have found so amusing as it is simply careless. In the end it is your happiness that you seek, so ask yourself what do you want. Buy what you love, it’s the only way these decisions make any financial sense whatsoever. You have made an investment in what brings you a level of joy that just having the money cannot. If that isn’t you then look for what will bring you that joy. Sometimes, you will make a decision and find out it doesn’t and thus you have paid for this knowledge and experience and move on to the next thing. Either way, I and I know others hope you get what you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nice spec, hope it works out.F8 will be awesome, but maybe wait for the Spider? Which will be the last of the last V8 without Hybrid electric. Anyhow off to Starbucks now , just cant decide which one to go for.
Wow. Truly blown away by the kindness, warmth, and overall humanity of this post. On Fchat, I sometimes find myself reaching too quickly for the snark button even though I am really a “benefit of the doubt” kind of fella. Reading a post like this one is inspiring on a bunch of different levels. Really smart, sage advice too. Would you consider being my life coach?! What impresses me most about this forum is not the amazing car collections (although some of the $5-30M are mind-bending for sure), not the shocking level of collective success (is there another forum with a higher average IQ/net worth than Fchat?), but rather the willingness of these same people to slow down and just give the average rank and file newbie dreamer (me not long ago....) so much thoughtful life advice. It’s a damn goldmine of good insight and suggestions. And the car porn is cool too…
My apologizes mate, with the stupid amount of threads this guy has created, and numerous trolls and late nights I've been pulling for tax season, it's hard to tell sarcasm without the /s at the end. Cheers!
And sales tax. It's like 10% in Los Angeles, so even if you sold it for MSRP, you'd lose $30K from the sales tax.
