Where has this been hiding all these years?

I saw a 500 mile example a few years ago. It needed a lot of refreshing. The gas struts wouldn't hold up the bonnet, dried out hoses, etc.. SHould be interesting to hear how much needs to go into a time capsule Testarossa.

It was in a private collection for 23 years. I had Ferrari go through the entire car and it was in excellent condition. They replaced a belt but apparently the previous owner did all the hard and expensive work for me.

Check the date codes on the tires. If it is still has the original tires you might want to replace those ASAP if you plan on driving the car.

Here's the question: did you pay more or less than it's original sticker? ;)

are you going to drive it? You should put Newman's Diff. in there then post a video of it flying around a track :)

Was this the guy in NY that had it in storage? I remember the article and that there was a 308 as well.

Did the fuel injection system still work after all these years?

I would not be driving it. Some cars are just meant to remain perfect examples of originality. Plenty of other driver cars to enjoy. My recommendation would be jack it up off the ground (possibly remove the wheels) and store it. There are less of what we see here than others with a few thousand miles on 'em.
I'd also keep everything that has been replaced including belts, bearings etc

I love it! Probably has the original air from Modena in the tires.

Enjoy it and drive it like you stole it.

It won’t be driven. It’s a time capsule that I will do my best to keep as it came from the factory.

Very nice! I totally agree. Don't touch it. Neat to see this car!
