Seems a few aren't able to deal with someone else being able to do something they can't. There's a word for that.

It's hard to say, sometimes there may have been other interactions we are not aware of. It's also understandable that the acquisition of 24-48 Ferrari a year by a 20-21 year old would raise skepticism.

Didn't read anywhere where dansage divulged his age and means of income - and for that matter why would he? Reads like a lot of speculation based upon not being able to find out exactly who he is and what he does. Pretty nosey behavior imo....and completely off topic.

Ah ok got the picture. Fair enough. Still off topic though..... funny stuff happens here on Fchat that's for sure lol. I thought noone1's story was doozy too. Maybe he feels he's under threat by being outdone?

Hahaha, the good thing is this thread has some good nuggets of info about the Pista Pricing.

Yeah I guess so lol.....along with a smattering of free entertainment thrown in. I think we are getting down to the cliff notes now, unless noone or dansage have anything further to add to the mix? At least with dansage he actually does own a car - some Ferrari's...and some very nice ones going by the Pista pic!

Eh, I call it like I see it. He's buying multiple Portofinos to win "brownie" points from his dealer for future car... yet he owns an LF, Enzo, and long-since already had allocation for his Pista (two of them.) So yeah, call me skeptical of a 20 year old no one knows who says he leaves 35 cars in his dealers back room.

Or he's buying "crap", to him relatively speaking, as recent as a few months ago. Who owns what he owns and is shopping for beat up FFs? He's got $10M of cars in his profile and he's looking for a beater FF to flip after a couple months. Hadn't he already spec'd 4 Lussos this year?

It doesn't really add up, IMO. Maybe he's completely honest though and just weird. If that's the case, if he's got as much money as he says, he could probably save himself the trouble of flipping 50 cars a year and just bypass the dealer rank and file by doing the Corse Clienti stuff. Probably more fun and cheaper too. Stop by the factory, tell them you want to do the Challenge series and want to build a $2M one-off based on a Portofino. I'm sure you'll get plenty of allocations afterwards.

As for the business and ticket, it was indeed a watch business. My first court date was moved to this Friday for the ticket, so fingers crossed! I've got a clean record so I don't imagine it'll end badly plus my lawyers agrees it was just trumped up by a pissed off cop.[/QUOTE]

Responding now more so for entertainment then anything else - I buy portofino’s bcz I think they’re fun cars. I did not get my LaF nor my Enzo for msrp (obviously) as they both came well before my time. As for leaving my cars, they’re literally sitting in plain sight in my dealership. They use them for display, hell I let the service advisors take my cars to run around on weekends so they at least get driven. I’m not secretive in person. I go to most of the local c&c’s and routinely truck my “cool” cars to the track and drive my apparently inadequate (in your eyes) portofino’s down.

As for the “crap” - being able to afford nice stuff does not mean I can’t buy cars with miles. I bough that FF to use as a rally car, it serves a purpose.

In regards to bypassing my dealer. I see no reason too. I’m friends with everyone there and I have bought race cars and will be running challenge for them. They’re actively tracking down a 599xx for me right now. I’m waiting to get a one off and will be at the factory next month. I get plenty of allocations but this doesn’t mean I should stop buying things. Cars are my hobby be it a rational one or not. I didn’t come here beating on my chest screaming for attention. One guy asked how I got my cars and I answered and now the thread diverted to what I do. Anyone who is local to me most likely has met me at an event if they realized it or not. I’m pretty low key in person.

Not saying you're fake, but you're definitely the outlier. In any case, enjoy the cars or whatever it is you do with them all. I'm not gonna dig or ask for personal details or anything, just thought your story was far fetched.

You could be right, truth is I don’t know. If he hit it big, happy for him. If this is all a charade, I’m okay too, all in good fun.

I'm just going to say that if you sold a company for 8 figures in the watch industry, you'd think you'd be able to search that person's name and find something, anything at all about it. No one is buying $10-20M worth of cars unless they got a huge pay day and there's no way an 8 figure acquisition isn't mentioned anywhere, especially when searching the guys name. He's 21, so how old could this business really be? Did he sell Google some smartwatch software IP?

So yeah, some of those cars seem real (though BJMotors shows his keepers as "sold" and probably every car he owns has been listed for sale with them). I still call ******** and agree with ttforcefed that it's probably his dad's money, and I'm sure if we searched for it we'd see a Mr. Dansage with a nice private equity gig or something, but whatever.

Cant understand why it is irritating you ? Whether it was money from a company sale or Daddys money , really so what. Let him buy what ever he wants and do what ever he wants. Cant understand why members are demanding a person to divulge where they got their money and how. So what. Maybe he won Tatts ?He certainly does have cars , that's enough as im concerned about street cred.

Question did you like it when they came after you ? He currently has cars, do you ?

I think you are being harsh. Here is a thought make friends with him and he might get you a Ferrari
