Mmm looks great!
I’ll send it in for analysis... damn cavemen might have been on to something lost to time up to the 1980s. And I bet GEICO had a caveman crack commercial that didn’t make it through legal.
I'm here to hit the "like" for Max AKA "Mr. Scallops"! A certain 4-legged vacuum cleaner had a tummy ache yesterday so I whipped us up her favorite comfort food - white rice & boiled chicken breast. Made enough for all of us. Mine had sriracha and a healthy shake of brewed soy sauce...T Image Unavailable, Please Login

Had dinner last night at Rao’s Las Vegas (I could never get into the original Rao’s in NYC). Nice place, great service, pretty good food. That being said, there are dozens of Italian joints in NYC that are just as good, if not better.
That looks great, whatever it is. Veal parmesan using a chop instead of a cutlet? The wife and I have thought about going to Rao's on several occasions while in Vegas, but never pulled the trigger. Being of Sicilian descent, dining out on Italian is never my first choice. T
Grade school (i.e., hard shell) tacos! Image Unavailable, Please Login Tossing them in the oven to get the shells more crispy. Image Unavailable, Please Login Browning ground beef in the Mauviel. Added chili powder. Image Unavailable, Please Login "Mexican" rice. I cheated and used Goya sofrito. I hope my friend George can forgive me! Finished the off with a little queso blanco, and sour cream. Now if I could just find milk in those mini containers that they handed out in the cafeteria, it'd been perfect. T

My wife, who is 100% FBI (full-blooded Italian), makes the best spaghetti sauces I ever had so I’ve never tasted the Rao’s jar sauce. That being said, the red sauce at Rao’s was very well made. And, yes, that was a Veal Parm constructed from a pounded bone-in veal chop ($53). It was bigger than my head and I couldn’t finish it.
More Flintstone chops. Great deal at $12 for two from a local grocery custom cut 2” thick. Corn was really good too. Cooked between rain drops. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well I'm rusty. And/or my grill is really on its way out. I need a new charcoal tray. And, probably because of oil overspray, I caught the back wall of my grill on fire and had to throw water on it. It kept growing. Lol And the grill was way too hot but I kinda like it charred a bit. I wont even show the mushrooms. They were over done too. But also first time doing them. Show us the shrooms! Image Unavailable, Please Login Veal chops tonight. They were kinda lame. Couldn't find any thick ones @ Central Market . Maybe picked over after a long and busy Mom's Day?!? T
Agreed. For a major conflagration, that looks pretty yummy. Image Unavailable, Please Login Veal chops over lump and oak. 2" per side with a flip. Then off to the side to finish off. T
See above your post. Thanks. I've been starting to eat jalapenos with most meals. Dessert today...... Blue bell cherry vanilla. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lok. I think you posted in the time interval I was posting my pithy remark! Image Unavailable, Please Login Veal chops coming off the grill, before 5 min of resting. They were good, if I do say so myself. Served with steamed broccoli and some sautéed mushrooms. The latter sucked. Not sure if it was a bad batch or chef error. They tasted blah, had unpalatable texture. Barf. T
