Hello John, Hope the Birthday celebrations went well. Unfortunately considering the lovely weather conditions, only four cars turned up this morning but we still enjoyed the breakfast and social side of these meetings. Apologies for no photo's but the cars that attended were: Giallo Fly Fibreglass 308GTB Giallo Fly 430 Spider Light Blue 360 Spider Rosso Corsa 308GTSi Hopefully a better turnout next month and will see you then. Regards, Tom
Anyone coming along on Sunday? And if you are, are you going to the Lynmouth show https://www.lynvalleyclassic.co.uk/ in the afternoon? I am intending to do both.
Should be down for breakfast!!! Lyn valley looks like a good show; but unfortunately won’t be over for that.
And then there were three . . . I'll be there for the 11th August event - for once the date of an event overlaps with a UK trip. Looking forward to using the car too. Cheers Mark
Ooops! Just re-read your post - August, so not this Sunday. I still may well be there, but I don't have a reliable weather forecast for a month ahead!!
I thought we’re being optimistic! Or have a direct line to the weather gods... Hope to see you there anyway although if it’s really wet I may have to bail... Mark
Not tomorrow John. Had a v early start today for the F1 qualifying so having a lay in (outrageous I know) and should probably spend some time with the family!!!! Trust there will be a nice turn out! (Aiming for August meet!!!)
And then there were four . . . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login and we had a very pleasant chat over the usual excellent breakfast, but it would be nice to try to up the numbers a bit more, so please spread the word / circulate the attached flyer to any Ferrari owners you know who might be interested. Thanks. PS A very nice Jaguar XK140 drophead parked next to my 550, owner unknown: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Likewise plan to be there assuming we're dry. Went to their "cars and coffee" event last weekend which was well attended and worth it if only for the museum. Mark
Nice turn out today. Lovely run down with great company and empty roads!! Good to see you all again. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Could not agree more,it was also good to put faces to names and meet up in person. Special thanks to John for arranging these meets. Tom
Yes, turnout was encouraging this month and it was a nice run down from GLOS. on a sunny morning over some nice roads and with only light traffic. The rear view of Adrian's 348 is very attractive - nicer than a 355 I think. Eight cars: V6 x 1, V8 x 6, V12 x 1. Red cars outnumbered by the blues!! I wasn't expecting to be there this Sunday (8th.), as due to be at Blenheim for the gathering of 1,001 Bentleys to celebrate the company's 100th. birthday. Unfortunately, our dog (who is in the autumn of her years) was diagnosed with severe anaemia today, so we are now awaiting results of tests and so she cannot go to our usual dog-sitter while we are away, which means we are confined to barracks. By way of compensation, I shall be able to come to Sparkford on Sunday. See you there?
I’ll be missing as well. Too much on and I’m likely off north of the border Sunday night. What’s sparkford?
