Great Thread! I am new to Fchat, with a purchase pending on my first fcar. BUT, I have a 2011 V8V 6 speed manual that I love! I was curious if there were many fcar owners that also owned Astons, they really are a special and under valued car. Rich at Redpants has been a huge help in getting my car setup, and for the last 2 years my car has been 100% trouble free. These cars are fantastic, great sound and really fun to drive. Will continue to follow your thread.
Thought I'd share a couple pics... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-N960U using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Love our Vantage. My wife’s daily. Almost 2 years of joy. It’s a wonderful car. This is a trip to the Keys for stone crab. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Out today on a long drive up in the mountains with our vantage and new Blu f355. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
The vantage has a vibration when turning toward the right so will have to check the motor mounts and exhaust connections... Still a great day. Both timeless cars. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Took my vantage in for an oil change. Also had them check motor mounts and the exhaust fittings. Was getting slight vibration when turning right. All good. They tightened up an exhaust flange that was a little loose. Motor mounts were good to go. The car is still absolute magic. Robb
Another Vantage in for service while my car was in. Love the Glacial Blue. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agree completely. And yes, we absolutely love our DB9 (Heritage Chiltern Green, 6spd manual), right alongside our classic Italians... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, great collection! And a 6 speed db9!!, I don't believe there are many of those.... I just drove my manual V8 vantage back to back with my (new to me) gated 360. Worlds apart in driving characteristics, the Aston is incredibly refined and smooth, the 360 seems to take much more precision, but so rewarding. I was originally going to sell the Aston, but now I think I keep it. both very unique and special cars. Now to find more garage space.... my wife's car is outside.... I have that issue too. At the moment we have 3 cars parked outside. One (not pictured) is leaving and a lift is coming for the garage so that will get us down to just my wife's Cayenne outside.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Was out of town last week. Car had been hanging out in the garage after a long 10 day bus trip. On a tender. But started right up. So Great car so far in almost any situation. On another note. I have the F1 trans. Something to figure out. Drove it in 110 heat in AZ the last time out and when pulling both paddles exiting a highway ramp coming to a light, car has shut off a time or two in similar situations. Hot with a/c on - high speed going to neutral from 5th gear getting ready to stop at an upcoming light off the ramp. So I’m not sure what that could be but it’s done it in similar situations 4-5 times in last year. Car started right back up but I’d obviously rather it not go off in the first place... I only drive with paddles so I may need to do the rolling clutch learn with D and comfort mode per my Indy advice... we’ll see what I find out. Robb
