Sooo. Does this fix apply to the same issue with the 458? I am looking for a 458 to add to my 360 however it is a bit troubling to buy a vehicle that may not stop when i want it to. When inspecting a 458 is there something brake related to specifically check? Has Ferrari admitted that it is a software issue?? Will this happen to every 458/488?
I had indeed this recall. It's reported as a software issue; the software supposed to monitor the discs wear was reportedly bugged. Not sure how it could be trusted with or without correction anyway, since AFAIK the proper way to assess CCM discs wear is to check their weight. I do not know about the 458.
