    Dan, I'm always curious about the year and mileage on these jobs. My '08 599 has now over 40k on it but I don't think it's ready for this kind of restoration.

    I think this is a 2008 with 26k miles. It really depends on who and how many people owned the car. The current owner bought it knowing it needed TLC but wanted a stick shift car.

    Glasurit and Spies hecker are considered the best paints in the auto body industry. PPG writes big checks to shops who sign paint contracts, I would imagine its the same story on the OEM level. Same with recommended oil and tires.
