It's so cool! I'm just interested is it for sale?
Thx! I know the identity of those two. You might be able to identify the 'GMP' GTO? Don't have a number for that one...
Just a short information : Translation from German reporting : _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Stolen 2 million Ferrari: Police investigate suspect The secured Ferrari 288 GTO is one of only 272 copies and once belonged to Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine. One month after the spectacular theft of a more than two-million-euro Ferraris near Dusseldorf, the police has identified the alleged thief. It is a well-known 43-year-old Frenchman, said a police spokesman on Thursday in Dusseldorf. The man is already behind bars - because he is currently serving a different sentence in France in another case. The Ferrari had been secured after the crime in Grevenbroich near Dusseldorf. Witnesses had seen the rare red sports car driven into a garage there. In the car traces of the thief could be secured - among other things fingerprints. In addition, the thief had been photographed shortly before the test drive at the vintage car trade. The broad international coverage of the spectacular coup has led to clues from France. There, a reader of the newspaper "Le Parisien" the 43-year-old from northern France on the Fahndungsfoto recognized. The Ferrari once belonged to Eddie Irvine The suspect had spent in May at a vintage car dealer in Dusseldorf as a prospective buyer. As he was allowed to drive the car in neighboring Neuss during the test drive, he drove off with the 400 hp vehicle and left the bewildered salesman at the roadside. The rare Ferrari 288 GTO, built in 1985, had been offered by the classic car dealership for more than two million euros. First owner should have been according to sales announcement ex-Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine.
Incorrect. 53307 was sold new 28 December 1984 by Garage Francorchamps SA in Brussels to first owner Mr. R. K. in Antwerp. I have the paperwork. Eddie Irvine purchased this car only on the 16th January 1993 from Bramley Garage in the UK. He was the 5th owner. Marcel Massini

Absolutely. When I was a kid I always imagined them rolling off the production line and being driven out the factory gates by their new owners! I so want to take a trip down there and get that same photo with my car. Even if it means being chased out of there by a crowd of angry classiche employees.
Dear Mr. Massini, I'm sorry, I've just translated the German reporting from German language into English. Best regards Zdenek
Sold by yours truly to the person who exhibited it at 2018 Exotics on Cannery Row. It's recently gone on to European ownership. Has been used for its intended purpose during its life (i.e. has covered nearly 70,000 kilometers).
I found this snap lurking in my hard drive. I am sure that someone knows "who, where & when". Image Unavailable, Please Login
