458 Price Check on Rear Diffuser

    I had a little too much fun this weekend and went over some dips in a country road a little to fast and scrapped the bottom of my rear diffuser real bad. You can't really see it but i know it's there and it bothers me. I want to order the replacement so at least i have it when i need it (i was figuring just to use the damaged one for now as it still works find just looks scrapped).

    I contact Algar and they wanted about $2,100 for the part plus shipping from NJ. Anyone else have any hot leads on where else I could get this from? Does the price seem right?

    I may be wrong, but I thought individual "fins" could be replaced. Looks that way on my 488 anyway.

    I may be mistaken. But aren't the vertical fins available seperately? I believe they are, so a complete diffuser should not be needed. That being said, if you like to have fun, this is just part of the fun. It will hit again at some point. Never seen a 458 hit with the nose, but a well driven 458 and 488 has battle scars on its arse. That's life :)

    I think both Ricambi and Algar can get the fins.

    Order a bunch and consider them a wear item :D

    I assume this means non carbon fiber diffuser correct?

    Can the fins on a carbon fiber diffuser be replaced?
