I was pleasantly surprised how much he loves this car. His praise is really saying something. Especially about the engine and gear change. I’m not surprised about how good this car is. I’m surprised about how open Nico is about it.
His vocabulary consists of 4 words all starting with a A (awesome, amazing) and U ( unreal and unbelievable).
Really?! He’s a German, born of Finnish parents, who speaks around seven languages and you want to criticise his limited use of non-native English adjectives when reviewing a car?
Great vid, BTW. Thanks. Love to see a guy at his level so enthusiastic about a mere road car! It tells you how badass this machine really is. And, kudos to everybody who scored one.
his opening words after adjusting the steering wheel column was magic to me! literally sums up the Pista... This is a great video for all Pista owners and those in waiting the excitement builds.. enjoy & well done to the fortunate few
Always wondered why Ferrari don't get Vettel or Leclerc to do something similar... not just the static launch event.
Yes. I did and I do. The review was in English. Perhaps speaking in one of the 6 other languages he speaks would be more edifying.
With Mercedes dominating, I think (hope) those guys are pretty damn busy with their day jobs. Drivers are very good for both teams, obviously, probably interchangeable. So that leaves the equipment as the difference. Ferrari ought to be tweaking and testing, that needs the drivers. And of course this video is about Rosberg is building his personal brand.
I doubt Lewis would have made the mistakes Vettel has if he was driving the Ferrari. And Valteri is again struggling to stay with Lewis, as did Nico before him, and Kovaleinen and Jenson before him. Lewis is undoubtedly the best out there and makes a huge difference.
no doubt, poles and victories prove the point My point was Mercedes also has the best equipment this year, that is also clear as illustrated in the number of 1, 2 finishes to date.
I’m sorry but I think his English is pretty good. Not everyone is or needs to be a walking talking thesaurus like yourself
He was going really well and had me right up until he started on about electric cars - that's where he lost me completely. It was like see ya later from there on. Bye. I'm out.
The on board video was FRANTIC! Very exciting and energetic from inside the cockpit. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
He's clearly a very accomplished driver but like his 2rs vid he's really quite erratic with the steering wheel. Throws the idea of smooth clean out the window. But it definitely works for him. Can't argue with that.
I get it. He bubbles with enthusiasm over the Pista so it matters little that his communication skills offers little insight into the experience. Personally I expect more from an actual reviewer. His comment about electric cars causes me to pause but I am sure others feel differently.
Just for the record, his mother is German, but you are absolutely right about the unfair criticism towards him.
Actually Jenson was only one of two drivers (the other being Rosberg), who beat Lewis over a whole season.
