Yes, very well thought…………. PS: how many Concours does the world really need? Too many big egos around. Marcel Massini
There are only 52 weeks of the year and as far as I know calendars are pretty cheap, you would think they could find one concours free weekend although at least its not as bad as a few years ago when the Royal Concours, Salon Prive and Chantilly were all on the same w/e.
Pity as I will be in Chantilly... Here is the Monaco concours schedule: https://acm.mc/en/edition/elegance-et-automobile-monte-carlo-edition-2019/programme/ The provisional entry list with ALL cars: some major royalty amidst the other makes such as the only Maserati V4 16 cylinder in the world. https://acm.mc/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Liste-engage%CC%81s-provisoire-par-cate%CC%81gories-Juin-2019-V7.pdf
What a pity that 0488AM is not coming... was on a previous version of the (provisional) entry list...
TTBOMK there's at least two Mythos in Brunei, one in Japan and another one in The Netherlands. Marcel Massini
I believe so from Jim’s Instagram feed. Apparently a muffler fire. On board fire suppression system was used and the car is still running. Regards David
plus Europe and especially France is suffering through a massive heatwave these days. Certainly challenging weather conditions for cars and their owners to!
45.9 Celsius today in villages two hours drive west of Monaco hottest EVER recorded temps in mainland France...
Absolutely brutal temperatures there especially for those people without air conditioners. Spare a thought for those less fortunate!
Was this the reason it was never equipped with an engine as a concept car ? weren't the holes in the enginebay-cover enough to cool the engine and were just esthetic ??? i wonder !
Latest photo from Jim... Image Unavailable, Please Login Does not look too bad from the outside. Regards David
Any photos of today? Arrived near the other one, Chantilly, will post some pix of that late afternoon tomorrow.
There are different stories around.. 1) unburnt fuel in the muffler got fire because of the temperature and as the car was not driving fast enough to just burn it out.. 2) the roadbook fell back and caught fire... I actually believe it was the first Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
