If you idle a flat tappet engine at 800rpm you will fuchs the cam lobes in no time - nothing to do with oil pressure, it's a matter of insufficient oil flow.
Actually, Ian is correct once again, but on top of that, when the engine is hot 800rpm will bring on the red light on the oil pressure gauge and the needle won't register anything. Once again, moretti is ****ing that car up and makes excuses because he's actually clueless. Of course, after the engine rebuild, I used to love running it at 8000rpm with that red light on....I knew it wouldn't be MY problem.
Who cares, when I get the engine rebuilt I'll be doing it so it gets done right ...... Tim, Marc, Sal are all dills

All set to start reassembling the engine this week I will be monitoring with interest to see how long they take
PP is correct, Pap or I could assemble that engine in 3 days. The behaviour of the company involved has been appalling from the outset. I will never recommend them again.
Great opportunity to shoot a time laps on the rebuild David Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
