Hi Folks, I've got a spare set of Yoshi shields for sale. These are the finest quality ever made. Fitment often requires slight bending to match the fender. $350.00 to your door - lower 48 states. Outside of US, actual shipping cost. Thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
These are really nice as mentioned. I have a set myself but could never figure out the best way to bend them to get them installed. They are ever so slightly over contoured. Not to hijack but do you have any suggestions?
Kevin - I fit my first set with no issues. IIRC, the bent was too tight so I had to relax it a bit and I just placed them on a bench and gently applied pressure a little at a time until I got them to fit perfectly.
Yoshi made them specifically for different models- there should be no need to bend if the model car you are putting them on is the same model they were made for if your placement is correct (can search f-chat for the specific proper placement on various models). When I bought my 360 in 2009 the first night I put a pair of 360 sheilds on in the garage. When I bought my F355 spider in 2014 the first night I put a pair of 355 shields on in the garage- obviously I'm a fan I think by the time I bought the F355 yoshi himself wasn't selling them directly- (I bought the 355 shields from a seller here on fchat- the 360 shields I bought right from yoshi directly). These things are top quality- I parked my 360 next to a 360 with factory shields at a car show...his passenger side shield was literally inches from my driver's side shield. I stood there for a few minutes turning one way and the other- they were virtually identical. Of course the factory fender has a slight indentation, but if you are not specifically looking for that you won't notice. There were other ferrari owners that didn't believe mine weren't factory. Same with the F355, although I'd have to park next to a later model (like ~99 model year) 355 with the factory option or a Fiorano package car to do the comparison, but I'm convinced so no need for me to do that- the shield design, paint, construction is top notch on these.
You are correct - he did make them for different models and I bought my first set from him directly, for a 355, and they did not fit perfectly - I had to bend them slightly which is why I posted this from the start so the buyer would have no surprises. At that time, I was emailing with Yoshi about them and perhaps he sent me the wrong model shields - I'll never know as I made them work with very little effort. I can check this set on against my other 355 that does not have them and report back as to fitment.
The OP has been permanently banned from FerrariChat. Your best bet would be to contact him directly, not through FerrariChat.
You would need to contact the Admins or subscribe as a Rossa and read up in that section. I am not going to get involved on stuff like this, and stay clear on the subject of bans.
