What’s the story with the black evo? No numbers, power stickers are on windshield vs top of the hood, and one picture I saw had some mechanism sticking out of the exhausts. Was this a Ferrari test mule? EDIT: looks like all FXXK evos has the exhaust mechanism. Must be a silencer I’m guessing.
Silencer indeed. The black one was one of the pacecars so it could be a test car of some sort. Gr. Martin
The Black car is the original Test Mule. They used it as a pace care with us for the first session. The silencers were required because our cars are 6 decibels over the track limit.
Thanks for the info! Those cars are loud! I remember the first time I heard them all start up at once at COTA last year. Such an incredible sound It looks like y’all enjoyed the Ring. What a bucket list track in a bucket list car!
the black one is definitely the nicest looking out of all. i don't find any of the livery attractive to be honest. the lack of paint job really shows off the car musculature, very cool.
