You're welcome! Always happy to help. Additional info: Hold the gas pedal DURING shifting. Once F1 is done shifting to your target gear you can then modulate the gas pedal to your desired speed. Dan Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Nothing? Flywheel is off to be machined but didn’t look too bad. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I paid around $5k for my complete transmission overhaul . Just got it back about a week ago and what an improvement !

Was this done on a flywheel refinishing machine? Finish looks as though it was done on a lathe type machine. Just curious. That said, as long as the finish is flat and clean, it will be fine.
It ended up being machined on a lathe because a standard flywheel grinder can't get into the radius sharp enough on the outer edge of the wear surface or the radius of the pressure plate mounting surface. A standard flywheel grinder leaves a rounded radius and it wouldn't allow the pressure plate to sit flat, the same for the clutch disc. I just put the flywheel on the crankshaft with a dial indicator and the runout was 0.0005 in at the highest point. I'd say they did a very good job.

Replacement (=original ferrari parts) fly-wheel, clutch, bearing, sensor etc (after 65.000km's/40.000 miles) in Holland € 6000,- including 21% VAT and Labour. Done by specialist, not dealer. After 1000km's reset the settings/re-program the clutch-pickup as plates/flywheel are worn into eachother. Makes a uge difference in (future)wear and comfort. This re-programm I never read about, was included.
Thank you. Definitely will have adjustment made after break in. Any advice on how to bed or break it in properly? Any specific procedure or just take it easy for a few hundred miles? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Just drive as usual, no procedure (I am not told) Just re-programm to setting you like most. You must drive the car yourself during this setting. When you have found the sweetspot test al settings on steering wheel & reverse. Note: The re-programming is setting the distance/delay of engaging. Be aware that a tight setting can cause reverse engaging issues. My setting (personal) was just above that minimum. It picks-up perfect when leaving the line and shifts without slip
So after some summer vacations and then some Challenge race team traveling for Brady, he was able to get the clutch installed and the car back together. Test drive went very well and I am looking forward to picking the car up tomorrow or Wednesday! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
After my clutch was replaced in June, I found the upshifts perfect but the downshifts, particularly from 3 to 2 was clunky and not normal. Had the dealer adjust the downshifts and now they are like butter. So make sure you check operation to make sure it’s to your liking. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
