Mike I just ordered the seals (pair) from T Rutlands as they have it in stock for $47.00. It is the same manufacturer that Martin recommends, Cicognani.
Next question: the gasket surrounding the spare wheel well. Is yours oval with a ridge on the outside top or round with the ridge on top?

I replaced them too almost two decades ago. When new, they were round with the ridge on the outside. Now, twenty years later, they are oval with the ridge on the outside Without kidding; I think, round ones with the ridge outside are the correct ones if the section diameter matches. Best Martin
Sorry, joke above failed Of course they are oval after many years of use and being compressed. New ones are round. Best from Germany Martin
Of course. Mine looked like this when new. Meanwhile they are oval Image Unavailable, Please Login I know, that this is our bane This is the reason why I am and why I stay here. Always learning something new. Especially from the Aussies. Tried to copy that on our local newspaper forum ----> lifetime ban Best from
Here’s a question. It sure if mine is correct, (photo above) Which way is the correct way for the rib to face, towards the outside of the car or towards the inside?
Martin, I also ordered from Ricambi. They sent a very interesting type much different then that under discussion. First it’s much narrower overall. The bottom has almost no flat edge to glue. It may however solve your clearance issue.
What’s really weird is both came in bags marked Ricambi Maybe different years or cars? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think those are the ones Nerofer got. They are also supplied by Maranello. They don't match what seems to be the original.
