A Russian billionaire with interests in NZ had it built in the Ukraine 10 years ago. Unfortunately it's delivery to NZ coincided with things going quite bad for him and it sat unused, eventually finding its way to a friend of mine who was owed money. I bought it from him 2 years ago and it had only been sailed a handful of times. It's quite stunning
I ran into a boat that I think had the same owner. A huge sport fish cruiser that was perfect in every detail. The boat had been idle somewhere in ANZ, purchased and was in the Exumas. Super private crew. They didn't even look at anybody. I can't remember the name of the boat but it strikes me as a similar backstory. Your boat is a work of art.
Apropos of nothing posted recently........but this is still true....... Image Unavailable, Please Login

I took this at the Antique & Classic Boat Society show last month at Harvey's Lake in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Incredible attention to detail by the builders and the owners. Image Unavailable, Please Login
First time in a very long time since I have posted pics of my little fishing boat. The floor carpet and timber was rotted inside, so the Brother and I re-trimmed it over the last 3 days. And repaired some wiring under the steering console also. I also removed the seat pole bases on the floor which I have never used and the side light which I made redundant years ago when I fit new interior side lights. The original timber floor and carpet was 18 years old, so it did alright sitting out in the weather for most of it's life. It is booked in in November to have a custom boat cover made for it now. I have no intention of doing this job again lol. 3 days and $1000 in materials to get the job done. New stainless screws, wood, carpet and glue. Not cheap by any means, it would be a $2000+ job for an upholsterer to do this job here. It's not a big job, but was definitely a big job.
