I certainly can't claim to hate all turbos. Two of my all-time favorite Ferrari's (288 GTO and F40) happen to be turbos, after all. The fact that hey are doesn't diminish their desirability in my eyes at all.

The sound of a turbo is music to my ears, I have no idea how that couldn’t bring a smile to anyone’s face

    “No sound, No soul” ;)
If the sounds from your car come from a speaker instead of the engine, you have lost focus.
It’s like not having a dipstick to check your oil level .......
......next up a steering wheel (that does nothing) will be a $1000 option......

I prefer NA myself, followed by supercharged.

I have heard nothing that would make me think a mid-engine V12 Icona Testarossa is anything more than wishful thinking in a couple of f-chat member's imaginations.

Nobody has provided a link to an article where this is suggested by someone connected to Ferrari that I have seen.

Assuming we’re talking about the 80’s/90’s TR, I can think of many other cars that would interest the exclusive market much more than an Icona based on it.

I think we are talking the hope that a mid engine V12 comes out. It can be named the Testarossa since that was the last mid engine 12 cylinder offering. It would certainly it be based on the actual TR from the 80’s and 90’s. No more than one GTO was based on another...

    At least that’s what I think! ;)

I'd forgotten about that, but I do remember reading it now. Not buying it though. The BB is a more beautiful and iconic car than the Testarossa, but they both have flat 12's. Ferrari would have to be insane to recreate that motor with 1,000 HP just for an Icona model! But I suppose it's possible if they charge enough. ~shrug~

Because there won't be any other mid-engine 12 except the LaF replacement.
