I agree....He shot to fame during the early days of 20 / 20 cricket....He's never ever been consistent and to be honest Gilly was more exiting to watch and a lot more consistent with his big hitting...
Agreed. Both openers must be on shaky ground. Do we have a RH opener in the wings? Head should never have been dropped. Carey should be in the side for Wade, and Starc for Siddle. If it wasn’t for Smith and Cummins we would have lost this series. Lyon and the other bowlers have also done well, but our batting has been ****e.
Totally agree !!!! Gilly was my pick before he came to notice and then Cummins when he destroyed Sarth Ifrica many years ago and then got ill .... strangely I don't rate Smith but he is better than Bradman in my eyes Starc can wipe out a team in minutes
I can't believe Siddle is still in the side....He's way past his used by date....I guess at least he's keeping the Coffs Harbour Bannana industry going....
I gotta be honest and say I'd prefer not. I'd much rather see him lay waste to the competition without having the shackles of responsibility.
